IVY HILL FARM CELEBRATES 50TH ANNUAL FALL FARM FESTIVAL, A RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY HOSTED BY VISIT HAGERSTOWN WILL KICK OFF THE WEEKEND OF FESTIVITIES
(SMITHSBURG, Md.) Ivy Hill Farm is proud to announce the 50th anniversary of its annual Fall Farm Festival, marking a half-century of autumn tradition, family fun, and agricultural heritage in Washington County. The Farm Festival takes place on October 10 & 11, 2026.
The landmark golden anniversary weekend will officially kick off on Friday, October 9 at 1:00 p.m. with a special ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by Visit Hagerstown & Washington County Convention & Visitors Bureau. The ceremony will take place on-site at Ivy Hill Farm, opening a full weekend of festive activities, delicious seasonal foods, and family-friendly entertainment.
“For 50 years, our annual Fall Farm Festival has brought our community together to celebrate the fall harvest. Weekend Festival Highlights Include:
Fresh Farm Refreshments: Freshly pressed sweet apple cider, homemade apple butter demonstrations, and a wide variety of whole and sliced homemade pies with ice cream.
Farm Attractions & Activities: Pick-your-own pumpkin patch, hay rides, and friendly farm animal encounters.
Local Vendors & Concessions: Food trucks, local artisan vendors, live music, a Kids Zone, as well as seasonal mums, gourds, jellies, jams, and fall decor.
The 50th Annual Fall Farm Festival will run throughout the second weekend of October. Community members, visitors, and regional press are invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, October 9 at 1:00 p.m. and stay to enjoy the festivities.
